It is always a pleasure to deal with a company that makes a promise and keeps it or far exceeds it. This has been my experience with Cardinal Remodeling and Design, who replaced my front door in a manner that far surpassed my expectations. The quality of the work, the attention to detail, and concerned service was refreshing and has encouraged me to do business with Cardinal in the future. For several years, I have needed a new front door and worked with local home improvement stores that seemed to care less about my needs. Over the years, other projects demanded my attention leaving my door as a minor problem. Once I contacted Cardinal, Lynn immediately came out and shared my alternatives and prices. In less than a month, my custom designed door arrived and was precision installed by Jeff and his crew. When they had finished, they cleaned up, took the old door, and left things exactly as they were when they arrived with the exception of a spectacularly beautiful front door that enhances the value and appearance of my home. My deepest thanks to them for restoring my faith in Michigan craftsmen and their work.

I had Lynn come out to explore my options for an egress window installation. He went through every option in great detail and even explained the city requirements. He quoted me a fair price and after meeting with a couple other contractors, I knew Cardinal was for me!

They were timely and followed through on everything as promised. They cleaned up better than any other contractor I have ever hired!! Lynn communicates every step and is always available to answer any questions, no matter how big or small. The whole team went above and beyond. They truly value not only their work but their customers.

After going with a competitor to build a deck at our prior home in 2015, we hired Cardinal in March 2020 to redo a 14x22 elevated deck at our new home. We met with Lynn and he provided a quote about 40% less than the competitor we had previously used, and also included a gate and additional detail work that the competitor did not. The project was delayed due to the COVID shutdown, but was completed in about two weeks after the shutdown lifted. The work came out better than we expected. The crew was very polite and respectful of our property and Lynn came by several times to check on the progress. Absolutely plan to use Cardinal again in the future and highly recommend them.

Brian and his crew were extremely efficient with painting and Jeff was an absolute pleasure to work with. The cabinet that they made for the kitchen was a great match despite the fact that they were matching 60 year old cabinets. They were prompt with the quote, called back when the door was ready to be installed, arrived on schedule, completed the work on schedule, and cleaned up after they finished. Cardinal is a great company with a wonderful owner. Lynn was helpful initially with getting our window install job quoted and scheduled. The work was done well and quickly! Additionally, today we had a little issue with a window (not an install issue) and I hesitated to call Lynn on a Wednesday evening, but didn't want to mess up the inter-workings of the window. Requested a quote for an egress window. Lynn got back to me in less than 10 minutes. He provided a rough estimate, no BS pricing, and all the styles they do. Then a few weeks later I called to schedule the service, he came out to look at the property, provided a contract that matched the initial estimate. A few months later, when the weather warmed up, they came an installed the window. They took care of everything, including a drain, landing pad, window, and cleaned everything up.
